This paper reflects on conducting “Reducing UTI in LTC using the NHSNC checklist in a long-term care facility in Philadelphia. Include the following and more;
1. Staff are very interested in new subjects that help the facility reduce a deficit in patient care.
2. Patients are very cooperative with projects that they think benefit their health.
3. Administrative staff supported the project, providing funds for the purchase of cranberry juice and other fluids for the patients.
4. You can add other good points that a student can learn from this type of project in a clinical setting.
