Capstone project, to be completed in parts. The first part is due this Sunday Nov 24 (though my instructor is flexible), below are the instructions:
Create the document that will ultimately become your final project report. Include all of the material required by the capstone manual–title page, copyright, dedication, abstract, etc. Ensure the body has all the required sections and headings–Introduction, Literature Review, Discussion, etc.
Complete sections one (Introduction) and three (Methodology). In the methodology section, be sure to separately address both the research theory (qualitative, quantitative, etc.) and your data collection and analysis plan–they’re different things.
Submit this document to assignment three. Be aware that there will likely be some back-and-forth between you and the instructor before this assignment receives a passing grade, and this assignment may require several revisions. This is normal. It is absolutely essential that you and the instructor be on the same page regarding what you’re going to do.
Be sure to provide this and all papers in proper APA format. Save your paper as a Microsoft Word document entitled YourLastNameWk.docx” (i.e., SmithWk3.docx).
I have uploaded my first publish of this document and feedback I received. The whole thing is flexible and I want to work with you to pick a topic/project that makes the most sense for you to complete.

As you’ll see, I initially considered using a mixed-method approach, but I’m considering changing it to a qualitative research approach, using secondary research data obtained through scholarly and government databases and websites instead of doing the mixed methods approach. We can continue to use the survey results for more content, but if your okay with it, and feel like you don’t need it, I would completely eliminate it. If that’s the case, then I can eliminate my IRB application.
Cirineo week 3,4, 8 are from a past course and where I’m trying to take this project. But ultimately, my major is emergency and disaster management, so I am open to completely changing my topic to something that will be easier for you to research.
Please let me know if you have any questions, I want us to work on this together. I will share the feedback I receive. I put 20 sources but I don’t think there’s a minimum number, I guess it just as many as it takes to complete it.
