This assignment need improvements on the Milestone 3 attachment and I attached Milestone 2 to reference the instructions I included on the bottom. I will include the exact comments from my Professor for my assignment so that you know what exactly needs to be done based on the feedback. To be general about it I need to have in text citations from the sources with direct quotes as well as better integration and the MLA 9th sources are not correct and need to be done to the standard of the links provided in the instructions. The Citations are the most important part of this assignment.
Professor’s Comments:
you are getting closer and closer. This is a bit like the last one I checked and while I let you slide through on that one, I really need to see that you have this down before you attempt the final because I want you to succeed, please. You need to be using author’s names in your citations, please. Right now, you don’t have any listed at all. Who wrote these? If you can’t tell WHO wrote them, how do you know they are credible resources? These handouts may assist:
Donald, thanks for posting an outline here. At this point, though, what I’m seeing is an outline rather than a paper. A paper would not be broken up into individuated items like this where each content area is numbered or bulleted. A paper flows one paragraph into the next just like a story might.
This handout will help you in seeing how to structure an academic paper in general: https://communicate.gse.harvard.edu/files/commlab/files/_structure_of_a_paper.pdf

Next, you need to integrate research. You do that by adding in-text citations throughout the body of your paper and then connect those in-text citations to the Works Cited list you generate. Integrating research is in this handout here: https://www.palomar.edu/users/jtagg/handbook/support.htm
And lastly, you need to set your paper up in MLA 9th format. You can find that in a sample paper in this handout and also how to manage in-text citations and full-text Works Cited references. https://www.palomar.edu/users/jtagg/handbook/support.htm
Milestone 3
What do I want you to do?
Now that you have identified multiple disciplinary perspectives and explored one in detail, it is time for you to demonstrate your understanding of the conventions of a single discipline by writing a research paper on a topic of your choice within a discipline you have explored in this competency. It is strongly recommended that you complete Milestone 3 using the discipline you explored in Milestone 2. Ensure that your research paper is written in a manner appropriately structured using the conventions, terminology, assumptions, and sources appropriate for the discipline. Subfields of a major discipline are acceptable areas of exploration for this research paper; for example, botany, zoology, and entomology are subfields of biology.
While the rough publish of this assignment is 500 words of original writing, keep in mind that before it can be included in the final portfolio, you will need to revise and extend this milestone into a final publish that is a minimum of 1000 words of original writing. In addition, prepare an audio or video note that will be submitted with your final portfolio in which you discuss your approach to completing the assignment, your original thoughts during the outlining and publishing stages, and the strategies you used during the revision process.
